I am thrilled to be part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) campaign and to contribute to raising awareness and funds for such a vital cause. This opportunity allows me to play an active role in the fight against leukemia and lymphoma, supporting groundbreaking research, patient care, and advocacy. Knowing that my efforts can make a real difference in the lives of those impacted by blood cancers fills me with motivation and purpose. I am eager to rally support, spread awareness, and work together with others to bring hope and healing to those who need it most.

Josephine's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 10, 2025

My name is Josephine Fahrenbacher-Martin and I am a junior at McCallum High School in Austin, Texas. I am so proud to say that I am a campaign leader for 2024-25 Student Visonaries of the Year. With the help of my friends and family I am so excited to come together for team United for a Cure. I chose the name United for a Cure because it represents the strength that comes from working together toward a shared purpose. Understanding that teamwork is at the core of accomplishing any big goal. The name reminds me that no matter how different we are, we can join forces and contribute in unique ways to something bigger than ourselves. It shows that by uniting our efforts, energy, and ideas, we can truly make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.

I’m really excited to join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because it gives me the chance to make a real impact in the fight against blood cancer. Being part of a cause that helps save lives and supports families is incredibly meaningful to me. I’m looking forward to working with others who share the same passion for making a difference. This opportunity allows me to grow as a person while contributing to something truly important.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

  • Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
  • Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
  • Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
